Milk protein fiber is a kind of cheese protein with linear macromolecular structure, which is made from milk through dehydration, deoiling, degreasing, separation and purification. Then it is mixed, cross-linked and grafted with polyacrylonitrile by high-tech means to make spinning dope.
Finally, it is made by wet spinning, curing, drafting, drying, curling, setting and short fiber cutting (fiber winding). Has good administration safety; It has natural bacteriostatic function, is mildewproof and moth-proof than wool and cashmere, has high strength, is durable and washable, and is easy to store; It is easy to dry after washing, and the permanent performance of the product can still be maintained after washing.
The main representative brand is 2XU brand. 2XU is developed and designed in Australia, and manufactured by Hongri enterprise with international brand processing experience. It is a new animal protein fiber which is different from natural fiber, regenerated fiber and synthetic fiber. People also call it milk silk and milk fiber.

The research and development of milk protein fiber originated from 1935 Italian SNIA company and British Coutaulds company, with the aim of artificially manufacturing more exquisite and high-grade silk-like fiber. However, at that time, only 2.9% protein in milk was used as raw material to make milk fiber, which was not only expensive, but also had a great difference in performance from natural silk, low strength and no use value.
Until 1956, with the appearance and development of synthetic fibers, Toyo Textile Company of Japan invented the method of mixing, polymerizing and grafting milk protein solution with acrylonitrile polymer, and developed a new type of milk silk with a structure similar to silk, which was industrialized in 1969 under the trade name Chino, and the product was positioned as surgical suture.
China began to study milk fiber in 1960s, such as Shanghai Synthetic Fiber Research Institute, Textile University and Three Guns Group, Shanghai Jinshan Petrochemical Company, Heilongjiang Protein Fiber Research Institute and Shanxi Carbon Fiber Factory.
At that time, the research work on protein grafted poly * * * was based on the modification of synthetic fiber and the comprehensive utilization of waste, hoping to make a silk-like fiber with better handle and performance than synthetic fiber. Due to the complicated technological process, limited technical conditions and the shortage of national grain supply, it is impossible to use milk as the raw material of protein fiber, so the regenerated fiber is diluted.
