Ningbo City God Temple:
Located in the center of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, it is an important Taoist temple in Ningbo. It was founded in the second year of Liang (9 16) and has a history of nearly a thousand years. With the change of dynasties, the Town God Temple in Ningbo also experienced ups and downs.
The zhaobi of Ningbo Chenghuang Temple is very distinctive, with a width of18m and a height of 9m, which is almost equal to the overall building width of the temple. It is the largest existing ancient zhaobi in Ningbo (such as the zhaobi of Jushilin and the zhaobi of Qinzhi Temple).
There are a circle of arch walls on the left and right sides of the zhaobi, which are closely connected with the temple and become a unique street view on Xianxue Street, which is also very rare in China. It is said that in 1958, when Shi Hui, the great director, filmed the film "Night Sailing in a Foggy Sea" based on the sunken ship of "Democracy III", there were two important scenic spots in Ningbo, one was Lingqiao, and the other was Zhaobi and Arch Wall in front of the City God Temple.
