Throughout the generation of Emperor Han Ming, although he left a good reputation as "Ming Di Chacha", too many consorts were excluded!
Yin Lihua, the queen of Guangwu who cherishes her life, as the mother of Liu Zhuang, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty, failed to stop the Yin family from being suppressed!
Yin Feng, nephew of Yin Lihua, as Xu, killed the princess and was executed!
That's not enough, plus my parents, the couple died together.
Figure 1- 1. Legend has it that one corner of Baima Temple was built by Emperor Han Ming.
In the Yin family, except for the mother and a younger brother of Guanglie Queen in the early years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, they all made their fortune by her love!
But in the period of Emperor Han Ming, this one didn't work!
At this time, because of the death of Emperor Guangwu, Emperor Hanming quickly changed his policy towards consorts. He no longer used consorts to deal with imperial clan, but suppressed it as much as possible!
Why does Ming Di have such determination and courage?
Because there were too many imperial clan rebellions during his reign!
He killed all the royal families who were capable and ambitious because of rebellion, and the rest were small fish and shrimps who could not afford to turn over the big waves. Naturally, he doesn't need consorts as a counterweight to the royal family.

What kind of emperor was Emperor Han Ming? Liu Zhuang, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty, was a favored emperor since he was a child.
First of all, he is the flesh and blood of Queen Guanglie. As the eldest son of Liu Xiu, the favorite concubine of Guangwu Emperor, he was trained as a prince by Liu Xiu as soon as he was born.
Originally, it was nothing. The eldest son inheritance system was practiced in ancient China for thousands of years.
But the problem is that Liu Zhuang was not the eldest son in the first place!
The earliest official eldest son in Guangwudi period was Guo Shengkun's son Liu Jiang!
But later, under the arrangement of Liu Xiu, Liu Zhuang became the eldest son.
Figure 2- 1. Guangwu Miaoliu in Luoyang, Henan Province
Why?
Because when Liu Xiu was fighting in Hebei, the real reason for marrying Guo Shengkun was to win over her uncle Wang Liuyang.
Since then, in order not to run counter to the powerful Guo Shengkun clique interests, Liu Xiucai was forced to make Guo Shengkun the queen, while the original Yin Lihua just became a concubine.
In the fifteen years when Guo Shengkun was placed at the bottom, Liu Xiu never thought of putting Yin Lihua in the position of queen.
When everything was ready in the seventeenth year of Jianwu, Guo Shengtong was abolished and Yin Lihua was appointed as his successor!
From then on, Liu Zhuang became the eldest son.
After becoming the eldest son, Liu Zhuang naturally ascended the throne of the Prince. The original prince Liu Jiang was very self-aware. After several resignations, he was named the king of the East China Sea by Liu Xiu.
The King of the East China Sea was originally written for Liu Zhuang.
Figure 2-2. Langya Garden in Linyi, Shandong Province-Langya is Donghai National College.
Apart from being loved, Liu Zhuang was a very clever emperor since he was a child.
As early as the 15th year of Jianwu, twelve-year-old Liu Zhuang showed his extraordinary political talent. At that time, because Chen was on duty in the field, I accidentally saw a line written on his report: "Yingchuan and Hongnong can ask, but southern Henan and Nanyang can't ask."
I feel strange and ask Chen what this means. At first, Chen didn't want to admit that there was something fishy about himself, and lied that he had found this book in the street.
At that time, 12-year-old Liu Zhuang saw through Chen's lies at a glance. He emerged from the curtain behind Liu Xiu and explained to Liu Xiu: "Yuwan is the emperor's hometown, with many royal families and certainly more land. However, ordinary officials dare not provoke the imperial clan, so when the superiors assign tasks, they tell Henan and Nanyang not to ask questions. "
A listen to an epiphany, so quickly questioned Chen, indeed as expected and Liu Zhuang's exactly the same!
Figure 2-3. Nanyang building
Smart and likable, Liu Zhuang must have been lonely when he was a child.
This can be seen from his deeds after he became emperor.
After Liu Zhuang acceded to the throne, the imperial clan secretly made friends with guests, with the intention of rebellion. One of the more typical is his own brother Liu Jing!
Liu Jing is the most capable and ruthless rebel in the imperial clan!
Figure 2-4. The image of a warrior in the garden
* * * The rebellion in Liu Jing is divided into three stages: the first stage, the bloody period. Liu Jing gave full play to his intelligence and tried to forge a letter encouraging Liu Jiang, the king of the East China Sea, to rebel in order to kill people with a knife.
Liu Jiang, the king of the East China Sea, wasted ginger. The position of his prince was taken away by Liu Zhuang, and he should be the one who wants to rebel most.
However, things are not as common sense expected. Liu Jiang's status as a prince is the result of his many resignations. His abandoned prince was not oppressed by Liu Xiu, nor was he excluded by the DPRK ministers, but judged according to his own observation of the situation, so there was less resentment in his heart.
Figure 3- 1. The King of Protectionism Unearthed from Famen Temple —— During the Han Ming Emperor in the East.
The only remaining unwillingness also vanished because of the vastness of the East China Sea fief. Judging from the restriction of the imperial clan in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the East China Sea, the fief Liu Xiu gave to Liu Zhuang in his early years, is a good place! The vast territory, the wealth of the people, live and work in peace!
Liu Jiang can live a moist life by waiting for tax collection every year. When the forged letter arrived, it startled him at first, and then immediately rushed to report to Liu Zhuang.
Therefore, Liu Jing's first rebellion failed. Liu Zhuang didn't punish him for his mother and brother, but demoted him to Guangling King and sent him to the countryside.

The second stage, the half-dead stage. Liu Jiang's behavior made public Liu Jing's reputation as a traitor, and no one dared to approach him in North Korea from then on.
At this point, Liu Zhuang has been discouraged.
He couldn't wait to go to the fortune teller and ask if he could start playing. As a result, the frightened fortune teller sued again!
Perhaps because it was not really implemented, Ming Di still didn't punish him.

The third stage, the dying stage.
Liu Zhuang's stormy act of sealing off the country made the officials of the sealed country afraid to approach him again.
So he lost all his cronies and fiefs in the DPRK, and the only way to rebel was to ask God!
So is he. In the third rebellion, he adopted the strategy of cursing Ming Di with witchcraft.
Finally, after this incident was exposed by county officials, he committed suicide.

At this stage of rebellion, the audience are reluctant to watch it, and it doesn't make much sense for him to live!
Besides, Guo Shengtong's two sons and Xu's son, Liu Ying, also rebelled in various countries.
In the end, Liu Ying committed suicide because things were exposed, while Liu Kang and Liu Yan only reduced their fiefs because of their lighter guilt.

Emperor Han Ming will never be soft when he kills his consorts. If he still goes easy on Emperor Han Ming, the imperial clan, all his consorts will be treated by the iron-blooded policy!
Dou Rong, a great hero who made great contributions to the establishment of the Eastern Han Dynasty, was sentenced to death for committing the crime of his younger brother Dou Lin.
The eldest son, Dou Mu, namely Xu of Guangwudi, was a peer of his generation. He died in prison with his two sons, Dou Xuan and Dou Xun, because of crimes such as private possession of Lu 'an territory, private prosecution of Emperor Hanming and bribery of officials!
In addition, the couple committed suicide caused by the Yinfeng incident, and the brother-in-law Fuzheng Minister of Emperor Han Ming was killed!
Figure 4- 1. Lu' an, Anhui-Autumn rains are continuous, and persimmons are all good.
The consorts who were not killed were also in a worrying situation in the Han Dynasty.
When Emperor Hanming was in power, he inherited the legacy of the first emperor and painted 28 statues of Yuntai as a sacrifice. Among the great heroes of the previous dynasties, only Ma Yuan, his father-in-law, Fu Bo, was excluded.
In addition, Ming Di's three brothers-in-law, Mario, Ma Guang and Ma Fang, have been in the position of Jiuqing all their lives!

Summary-Personal preference is obvious. During the period of Emperor Han Ming, there were historical reasons for treating consorts with excessive blood.
First, after the development of Guangwu, consorts gradually became stronger. The new Yin family, a four-door family, was just a rich man in Nanyang before Guangwu.
With the development of consorts, many playboys began to take power and run amok, which is unfavorable to the rule of the country.
As a famous strict king in history, Emperor Han Ming suppressed his consorts reasonably.
Secondly, from the point of view that Emperor Han Ming suppressed consorts but was tolerant of imperial clan, his personal feelings were obviously biased towards imperial clan.
Personally, I guess this is because he was loved by imperial clan members since he was a child.
Figure 5- 1. Chang'an
As soon as he was born, he was held in the hands of Emperor Guangwu. As the founding emperor, his prestige was extremely strong, so the influence of Emperor Guangwu's former imperial clan was limited. Guangwudi also seized the imperial clan with consorts, and the imperial clan could not afford to turn over any storms.
It was in this environment that Ming Di grew up. When he was a teenager, he got a wider territory in the East China Sea than many old princes. With the popularity of Emperor Guangwu, this did not cause any criticism at home and abroad, so Ming Di was the darling of the world when he was a teenager.
Needless to say, Liu Jiang handed over the crown prince, which can really touch people for a lifetime!
Moreover, Liu Jiang has been very loyal to the Ming emperor since then, and he has no eyes.
Figure 5-2. Sunrise in Linyi, Shandong Province
It happened that at this time, the rapid development of consorts made all kinds of consorts' children with different qualities begin to enter the royal vision. In this case, the consorts may leave a bad impression on Ming Di.
Needless to say, Ming Di himself was an emperor who attached great importance to the rule of law, and naturally he would not go easy on things outside the law.
And observing the achievements of Ming Di's generation, the interesting phenomenon is that the imperial clan forces that were hit were all because of rebellion, and most of them committed suicide, while Ming Di adopted a tolerant attitude; All the abused spouses are against the law, and Ming Di has adopted an iron-blooded policy.
Figure 5-3. Famen Temple-Built in the East during the Han Dynasty.
The bias is obvious!
After careful consideration, it is unlikely that the children of the imperial clan will do anything bad except rebel. More likely, Ming Di preferred the imperial clan.
Judging from the Watanabe incident, there are also many imperial clan children who occupy fields privately. Ming Di didn't completely shield them, but pointed out their problems to the point.
Although the political ideas in adolescence can't fully represent the political ideas in adulthood, judging from the evaluation of the words "Ming Di Chacha" in history books, it is still relatively close.
So the rest of the reasons can only be attributed to personal feelings!
