Directed by Wulan Tana and starring famous actors Hou Tianlai, Tian Rencheng and Li Hong, the TV series Sunflowers in the Wheat Field was filmed in the coastal city of Dalian. Li Hong's interpretation of the role of "sunflower" is in place. From Sunflower, he learned about her boyfriend's firmness after cheating, the firmness of love and affection, and the complex psychological changes of the characters. For Li Hong's performance, director Wulan Tana even praised: "Li Hong is a sunflower, and the sunflower is Li Hong."
