Baie Township is located 50 kilometers northwest of Huichang County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, and is connected with the mountains and rivers of Du Yu and Huichang counties. Among them, there is a well-preserved 200-mu natural broad-leaved forest in Jiaowu Village, and there are 12 ancient ginkgo trees with DBH 40cm in Baisha Formation of Zikeng Village, which are quite distinctive. Bai 'e Township is an old revolutionary base area of the Red Army during the Chinese Soviet period, and it is also a poverty-stricken township designated by the state.
