Edible fungi are prone to mite problems, how to prevent them?
Common mites in mushroom production include acaroid mites, tyrophagous mites, fungus-eating ear mites, fungus-eating wood mites, spiny mites, red pepper mites and so on. Mites lurk in cultures such as rice straw, rice bran and bran. It invades the mushroom house with the culture, or is absorbed by the sucker on the abdomen of the dormant body of mosquitoes and flies. Mites on mushrooms. Once the mushroom strain is sown, mites will quickly gather around the strain to feed on the mycelium, which will cause the mycelium to wither and decline, and will also bite the mushroom bud and cause the mushroom bud to die. Mushroom injury not only affects the yield and product quality, but also makes employees feel itchy and even causes allergic reactions. In the whole production process of mushrooms, we must pay special attention to the prevention and control of mites.

Keep the mushroom house clean. Before feeding, fill the mushroom house and its surroundings with 1500 times of liquid to kill insects. Combined with the second or third ploughing, acaricide is sprayed during ploughing. When fermenting after use, the temperature should be raised to 60℃ to kill mites; When the indoor temperature rises, cicadas can be scattered on the ground before post-fermentation, and mites climb to the ground and are killed as soon as they contact drugs. After the end of post-fermentation, spray the ground with 1500 times of mite picking liquid or 1000 times of mite sweeping liquid.

Treat mites after sowing. If mites are found after sowing, acaricide can be sprayed or smoked when the temperature is high at noon. Sterilize the covering material. Pre-wet the covering material first, then spray it evenly every 100 square meter 1.8% avermectin 100- 120 ml, and cover it with plastic film for 2-3 days.

Prevention and control of mushroom production cycle. During the fruiting period, several pollution-free methods can be used to trap and kill mushroom mites.

(1) Trapping and killing method of rapeseed cake or peanut cake: The fried rapeseed cake or peanut cake has strong fragrance. Spread several pieces of wet cloth on the bed surface harmed by fungal mites, spread gauze on the wet cloth, sprinkle freshly fried rapeseed cake or peanut cake powder on the gauze, take it off after fungal mites gather on the gauze, and scald it with boiling water. The ideal effect can be achieved by trapping and killing several times in a row.

⑵ Sweet and sour sesame oil trapping method: add 1 kg vinegar with 1 kg water, add 50g sucrose, drop 3-5 drops of sesame oil, stir well, soak gauze in the prepared sweet and sour liquid, and then spread it on the mushroom bed. When mites gather on the gauze, take off the gauze and scald it with boiling water. Pay attention to every drop of fragrant oil when soaking the sweet and sour liquid repeatedly.

⑶ Method of luring and killing meat bones: Mites have a strong tendency to smell meat bones, and they can roast bones and put them everywhere on the germ bed. When harmful mites gather on bones, they are scalded to death in boiling water.
