Taimu Mountain is located in the northeast of Fujian Province, 45 kilometers south of Fuding, with east longitude 120 degrees and north latitude near 27 degrees. Known as the "grand view of mountains and seas" in the world. 1988, Taimu Mountain was approved by the State Council as the second batch of national scenic spots in the name of Fujian Taimu Mountain Scenic Spot.

Taimu Mountain stands on the coast of the East China Sea, surrounded by the sea on three sides and a mountain on one side. It is magnificent, rugged, with different shapes and unique scenery. There are steep peaks, strange rocks, strange caves, beautiful streams, waterfalls and other natural landscapes, as well as rich cultural landscapes such as ancient temples and inscriptions. There are 360 scenic spots, such as Jade Monkey looking in the mirror, Nine Carps in the sky, Two Buddhas talking about scriptures, Scarabs climbing the wall, Eight Tianmen in Wei Tuo, etc., which are really "well-aged and look like masterpieces", especially the scenery of Nine Carps in the sky and Two Buddhas talking about scriptures, and Nine Carps in the sky.
