According to historical records, Princess Wencheng brought many musical instruments when she entered Tibet, including her favorite pipa. In addition, Gadongzan, the envoy of Songzan Gambu, also enjoyed the "Daqu" of Tang Dynasty music when he was in Chang 'an, Tang Dou. At present, there are many songs and dances in Tibetan folk music that praise and miss Princess Wencheng. Regarding the Langmaqu in the upstairs, Doreen Panditha, a Tibetan minister and scholar, studied the dulcimer (including the music at that time, of course) in Beijing in the Qing Dynasty and applied it to the Langmaqu.
