The title of the album is taken from an article about Japan's earthquake detection system published in New Scientist magazine. Le Ke explained that there is an uneasy feeling in the album.

When Wichita met with the Bloc Party, they described themselves as a band between Prince, the Dark Horse and Shellac, which is an alternative band in Chicago. In the record, the music of the Bloc Party has been adjusted through different influences.
