Weidu District, located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, is the central city of Xuchang City and the seat of Xuchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People's Government.

Jian 'an District is located in the middle of Xuchang City, surrounded by Weidu District, bordering Yanling County in the east, Yuzhou City in the west, Linying County in the south and changge city in the north.

Yanling county is a national commodity grain base and a national high-quality cotton production base county. Among them, the planting area of flower seedlings in Yanling County is 600,000 mu.

Xiangcheng County is a county under the jurisdiction of Xuchang City, located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, with Funiu Mountain in the west and Huanghuai Plain in the east.
