Water lines are precious and thoughtful, and the ceremony of a thousand miles is a night off.

Lying on a beautiful bamboo mat, I can't be calm for a long time. The long-awaited date with my lover suddenly fell through.

Creation background
The writing time of this poem is unknown. Jiang Fang's Biography of Huo Xiaoyu said that Li Yi entered Chang 'an early to take the exam, fell in love with Huo Xiaoyu, and made a vow of lifelong companion. Later, Li Yi went back to his hometown to visit his mother, only to find that his mother had engaged him to his cousin Lu. Forced by feudal ethics, he didn't dare to disobey, and Huo Xiaoyu died of depression. Since then, Li Yi has been "sad and unhappy". However, whether this poem is related to Huo Xiaoyu remains to be verified.

Li Yi (748-829) was a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The word Yu Jun is from Longxi Ancient Tibetan (now Wuwei, Gansu). In the fourth year of Dali (769), he was admitted to Jinshi. In 783, Jianzhong was awarded an outstanding degree. After his career was frustrated, he went to Zhao Yan. In the 13th year of Zhenyuan (797), Liu Ji was appointed as our special envoy to Youzhou. In the sixteenth year of Zhenyuan (800), he went south to Yangzhou and other places and wrote some beautiful poems describing the scenery in the south of the Yangtze River.
After Yuanhe entered the DPRK, he served as secretary, junior supervisor, bachelor of Jixian, right-riding constant attendant, prince as guest, and left-riding constant attendant. In the first year of Taihe (827), he was appointed as an official by the Ministry of Rites.
