Previously, Qing * * * was very cautious and conservative about letting * * shave his head. The history book "Ming lue" records that after Duoduo entered Nanjing, there was such an announcement:
"Shaving your head is the custom of this dynasty. Today, when soldiers arrive, they will scrape off their weapons, not their words, or their soldiers, or their people. You will have to shave yourself without knowing the law. There was a * * * official before, and the country has been reviled. Special show. "
But then this attitude changed. There are two reasons: first, the political situation has made unexpected rapid progress, and half of Jiangnan has surrendered. Except for the southeast and southwest, Manchu has basically controlled the whole central plains, and the appeasement strategy has achieved its goal; Second, * * * officials added fuel to the fire. Although some officials who have surrendered have changed their masters, they are unwilling to be lonely, or they shave their hair automatically to show their loyalty, or the letter implies flattery for appreciation.
So, in June of 1645, Dourgen issued a stern order to shave his head, saying, "Those who obey are Chinese, and those who hesitate are punished as felonies."
Shaving such a big event was unbearable for * * * at that time. They firmly believe that "parents endowed by the body should not be harmed", but after entering the customs in the Qing Dynasty, they broke their belief for many years. Who can accept it? As a result, the squires in Jiading city began to unite to resist. Li Chengdong, the executioner of the Qing army, led his troops to burn, kill and plunder Jiading City, killing them all three times in a row. Jiading, which was killed, has long been reduced to a hell on earth under the fighters of the Qing army.
This terrible murder-Jiading Three Slaughters took place in what is now Jiading District of Shanghai. When Jiading was in Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Lou County of Huiji County. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Jiading was placed in Kunshan County, Suzhou; The Song Dynasty was named after "Ten Years of Jiading", which is still in use today.
