Dolls are the oldest toys in the world. It originally meant a doll made of cloth or plastic with the image of a western child. Later, it generally refers to dolls that imitate the shapes of people and animals, also known as puppets and dolls. It is one of the main toys for children, but many adults take collecting dolls as an interest.

Most dolls in ancient China were gifts made of mud, cloth, wood and clay. At the beginning of the 20th century, European dolls were introduced to China, and many factories copied and produced "dolls", mostly made of rubber and celluloid.

In the 1960s, dolls were made of plastic, their heads were made of plastic and their bodies were blow-molded. There are also mobile dolls that can walk and move, dolls that can cry and laugh, and dolls that can talk.

Now the doll production in China is mainly in Shandong, Shanghai, Nantong, Jiangsu, Beijing, Guangdong and Fujian.
