Nanyang Shousheng Temple Tower was built in Wude period of Tang Dynasty (6 18-626). Now it is a building in the Song Dynasty, facing south, and it is an octagonal eleven-story pavilion-style brick tower with a total height of more than 30 meters. The first floor of the tower is carved with brick to imitate the wooden structure, and the stigma is paved with five floors as a double copy bucket. There are no buckets above the second floor and the eaves overlap. There is a circular arch on the front of each floor, and there are two square holes and windows on the second to sixth floors. The tower brake was damaged. There is a large number of points in the tower, and the contour of the wheel corridor is tall and beautiful. The tower is hollow and has a square tower room.
Shousheng Temple Tower in Nanyang Village is the earliest existing building in the Song Dynasty in China, which retains the architectural style and characteristics of the Song Dynasty. It is an important physical specimen for studying ancient architecture in China. There is a 1 Jin Dynasty iron clock beside the tower, which is 12 years old, 2.35 meters high, 1.65 meters in diameter and 0.05 meters thick. It is a relic of the former Shengshou Temple and an important physical specimen for studying metallurgy, painting, sculpture, customs and culture of China Jin Dynasty.
Nanyang Shousheng Temple Tower was listed in the third batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province on 1996 and 1 respectively. May 20 13 was listed in the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
