Different eating habits: Different regions and cultures often have different eating habits. Ningxia is the main inhabited area of Hui nationality, and its eating habits are quite different from those of Han nationality. It likes to eat beef and mutton, as well as chicken, duck and fish, but it doesn't eat the meat of horses, donkeys, mules and dogs, nor does it eat the blood of livestock and dead livestock, especially pork.
Religious belief is different: religious belief is a personal choice and belief system. Ningxia is the largest Hui community in China, and Hui people believe in Islam. If you have different views or practices on religious beliefs when you take the train, it may have an impact on your marriage.
Social customs are different: Hui and Han people may have some differences in social etiquette, marriage customs and family values. Hui wedding usually has Islamic rituals and traditions, such as the baptism ceremony before the wedding and the participation of chorus. However, weddings of Han people usually include traditional wedding customs, such as worshipping the church, offering tea and a wedding banquet.
Ningxia topography
The elevation of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is1100-1200m, and the terrain gradually inclines from southwest to northeast. The Yellow River enters from Zhongwei, obliquely crosses the plain to the northeast, and exits through Shizuishan along the terrain. On the plain, the soil layer is deep, the terrain is flat and the slope is suitable, which is convenient for water diversion and irrigation. Ningxia has complex landforms, many mountainous areas and scattered basins, which can be roughly divided into three sections: Loess Plateau, Ordos Platform, Alluvial Plain and Liupanshan Mountain, Luoshan Mountain and Helan Mountain.
The average altitude is above 1000 meters. According to the surface characteristics, it can also be divided into southern warm plain, mid-temperate semi-desert area and northern desert area. From south to north, the whole area is characterized by the transition from flowing water landform to wind erosion landform. Ningxia is located in the transition zone between the Loess Plateau and Inner Mongolia Plateau, with high terrain in the south and low terrain in the north.
In terms of landform types, the loess landform eroded by flowing water is dominant in the south, and drought erosion and wind erosion are dominant in the middle and north, which is a part of the Inner Mongolia Plateau. There are steep mountains and widely distributed hills, alluvial plains formed by stratum subsidence and Yellow River alluvial, platforms and sand dunes. The surface morphology is complex and diverse.
