3dmax is mainly used in interior design, industrial design, architectural design and other industries, and makes realistic scenes through modeling, adding materials, mapping and rendering. The use of 3dmax software is also difficult. If you want to teach yourself 3dmax, you need to find some professional tutorials, so that you can get started and master this software faster. Therefore, many professional 3dmax courses are provided, including 3D software use, rendering of renderings, basic modeling courses, VRay rendering, game modeling, interior design and other professional courses. If you want to teach yourself 3dmax, you must not miss it.

Open the scene file, and some models of the stage scene have been created in the scene. This case will simulate the production of stage beams.

Click Create, select lights, switch objects to photometry, click target lights to create in the scene, and create multiple target lights from bottom to top.

Click Modify, uncheck Enable Shadows, and set the light distribution type to Spotlight. The filter color is set to purple and the intensity is set to 2000.

We can also choose other lights to modify, such as changing the color of the lights. This can produce colorful picture effects when rendering.

Then, we switch the object to the standard, select the target spotlight to be created in the scene, create multiple spotlights from top to bottom, and place them near each target light.

Click Modify, check the shadow, set the mode to shadow map, and set the intensity multiplier to 0. 1.

Expand the spotlight parameters and set the beam in the spotlight area to 1 1.6 and the attenuation area to 20.3.

After the setting is completed, expand the advanced effect. Check the projection and add a map at the back. When rendering, it can produce real lighting effects, or it can be projected to the ground to produce arbitrary graphics.

We once again create a target spotlight to illuminate the middle part of the stage. Click Modify, check Enable Shadows, set shadows as shadow maps, set the intensity to 0. 1, and set the color to green.

Set the beam in the spotlight area to 42 and the beam in the attenuation area to 60. Expand the advanced effect, check the map, and then add a map.

After these lights are set, we need to create a VR light source at the top to illuminate the whole scene. Click Modify, set the light type to "Plane", the multiplier is 5, the color is white, the half-length is 4400 mm, and the half-width is 2000 mm. Check Invisible, and the subdivision is set to 8.

After setting, we press the shortcut key 8 to open the environment and effect control panel. In the following atmosphere, we can add volume light, add volume light many times, click Pick Light, and pick up the target spotlight just created. Pick it up immediately and set the basic parameters. The purpose is to see the real volume light effect when rendering.

Suppose we only added a map to the light in the advanced effect, but we didn't add volume light in the environment and effect, so we can't see the effect of volume light in the final rendering. This is why the volume light is set.

Click Render to see the final rendering of the stage lights.
