The Historical Origin of Laolongkou Liquor
Laolongkou Winery, formerly known as Yilongquan (later renamed Wanlongquan) Shaoguo, was founded in 1662 (the first year of Qing Emperor Kangxi) and has a long brewing history. Because Shaoguo was located at the mouth of the Dragon's Dragon in Qing Dynasty, the wine brewed later was called "Old Longkou" wine. Most of the liquor brewed in the early Qing Dynasty was presented to the imperial court. It used to be the origin of imperial tribute wine from emperors Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, Jiaqing and Daoguang 10 to Shengjing (Shenyang). It is known as "tribute wine of the Qing Dynasty" and is widely known as "a flying and mourning of beating drums and eight flags". "Laolongkou" currently has the oldest, largest, most intact and longest-running pit group in Northeast China. Judging from the history of the factory, this pit group has been in continuous use since its completion in the early Qing Dynasty. After more than 300 years of vicissitudes of life, "Old Longkou" has been making wine in situ and in the pool, which is unique in Northeast China and even the whole country. It can be called "the first cellar in Kanto".
