Which is more important, optical resolution or standard resolution?
Compared with standard resolution, standard resolution is more important. The optical resolution of the projector is 1024*768dpi, and the compatible resolution is 1080P. The video content of 1080P can be compressed to 1024*768dpi for playing, and the final projected picture resolution is still 1024*768dpi. The standard resolution of the projector refers to the original resolution of the image projected by the projector, which is also called true resolution and physical resolution. Physical resolution corresponds to compression resolution, which determines image definition and compression resolution determines the application range of projector. Physical resolution is the resolution of the LCD panel. On the LCD panel, liquid crystals are divided into grids, and each liquid crystal is a pixel. Then, when the output resolution is 1024×768, it means that the LCD panel is divided into horizontal 1024 pixels and vertical 768 pixels. The higher the physical resolution, the wider the acceptable resolution range and the wider the adaptability of the projector. Therefore, the optical resolution of the projector is more important than the standard resolution.
