Near Longtan Village, Matou Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, 27 kilometers away from Anshun City, there is an underground cave lake. The green underground river in the cave, like a ribbon, connects the 4-kilometer-long canyon and the beaded "hall". The stalactites in the cave are intertwined, and the pool is mysterious, just like a magnificent crystal palace. Because the dark lake is close to Longtan village, it is named "Dragon Palace".
There is an open deep pool in front of the Dragon Palace called "Longtan" (also known as "Tianchi"). You enter the Dragon Palace by boat from Longtan, and a dozen stalactites hang down from the top of the cave, bared their teeth, which is called "dragon welcoming guests". In addition, there are Dragon in the Water, Dragon Protecting Treasure, Crystal Palace, Dragon Returning to the Sea, Fish, Soldiers and Shrimps, Dragon Girl Reading, White Dragon Leaving the Nest, Wolong Lake, Dragon Trapped Pond and Longmen Waterfall.
Locals say there are dragons in the Dragon Palace. A long time ago, an old man was fishing by the Longtan when he suddenly saw a group of fish swimming. There is a giant swimming under the fish. When the old man was young, he heard that "the fish is on the top and the dragon is on the bottom" and shouted: "You are a dragon, please go to heaven; You are a snake, please go down! " As soon as the voice fell, I saw a flash of red light, and a dragon suddenly went to heaven.
On another occasion, a man in his forties came to Longgong Village, where he claimed to be a Dongting Laker and had the ability to fish. He asked the local people to find a stone and two buckets of croton and grind it into pulp, then pour it into the pond. In the afternoon, many fish float on the water. In the middle of the night, suddenly there was a loud noise of "Cough, Cough" from the deep water of the trapped pond, which shook the hillside all night. The stranger got scared and slipped away. An old man said that the fish made the dragon cough. He told someone to grind a stone and two barrels of soybean milk and pour them into the pond. In the afternoon, the dragon's cough eased and stopped at night. From then on, no one dared to put medicine in the trapped pond to make fish.
