First, the installation considerations
1. Accurately grasp the characteristics of various wiring modes and avoid blind wiring.
2. If emergency lighting is a part of normal lighting, three-wire controllable connection mode should be adopted.
3. For multi-storey public buildings, if there is no fire control center, the emergency lighting lamps in all parts can be controlled centrally by installing local switches (single-lamp single control or multi-lamp control) or connecting three wires in the distribution box.
4. For the project with fire control center, the fire control center can turn on the fire emergency lighting on the fire floor and related floors in order to meet the needs of fire.
5. In order to ensure the reliability of fire emergency lighting power supply, diesel generator set should be used as emergency power supply when conditions permit. As long as the generator is put into use, there will be electricity to continue to ensure power supply.
6. Local high-intensity lighting is more effective than uniform lighting brought by high-level installation. Therefore, low-rise installation should be advocated, that is, evacuation emergency lighting should be set up near the ground or at the height of the ground.
7. Do a good job in fire protection of distribution lines. When laying in the dark, it shall be laid in a non-combustible structure, and the thickness of the protective layer shall not be less than 30mm;; Wear metal pipes when exposed, and brush fire retardant coatings or take other fire prevention measures outside the steel pipes; The line adopts fire-resistant cables or fire-resistant cables and wires.
Second, the daily maintenance requirements
1. In the engineering design, in order to facilitate the usual maintenance and management, it is best for the fire emergency lighting to be supplied by a dedicated feeder circuit layer by layer.
2. All emergency lights are discharged from the factory and must be charged for 20 hours before use.
3. The performance of emergency lights in use should be checked regularly, and the circuit conversion and emergency function of the battery should be checked by continuous switch test every half month or one month, and discharged to prolong the service life of the battery.
Note that fire emergency lights, as emergency lighting tools, must be regularly maintained and inspected to avoid unnecessary troubles when disasters occur.
