Matouyin Temple covers an area of 13 mu with a building area of 870 square meters. The overall architectural style is China Palace-style architecture and * * * religious architectural style.

There are south lecture hall, north lecture hall, east hall, water room, ancient well pavilion, gatehouse and full moon building in the temple.

Matouyin Temple is the largest and most intact national temple in southern Jiangsu.

In the temple, the century-old Sophora japonica, Toona sinensis and Ginkgo biloba are tall and straight, with evergreen flowers and trees dotted in it.

The southernmost part is Baihui Garden and the downtown area, which is the cemetery of Imams in past dynasties.

There are a Catalpa bungeana, a Sophora japonica and a Ginkgo biloba in this area, which were planted in the Ming Dynasty.
