1. Slow down

If it is not necessary, move the remote control lever as little as possible to make the movement of the drone smooth, so that the drone can slow down when accelerating and decelerating. Plan the route as well as possible. Before shooting, it is best to spend some time getting familiar with the environment of the shooting point, which is conducive to formulating the best aerial photography route. This not only makes shooting smoother, but also makes more effective use of the battery. Otherwise, you may encounter an embarrassing scene where the drone's power is low when it is time to shoot again. Remember, at present, battery power is the biggest short board used by drones.

There are two ways to reduce the moving speed of the drone:

First: increase the length of the rocker. As we all know, the control input of UAV is directly proportional to the change of rocker angle, and increasing the length of rocker can unconsciously increase the thread of finger movement. Under the condition of the same finger movement distance, the angle change is small and the input quantity is also reduced.

The rocker is actually divided into two sections. First, screw the upper half counterclockwise to a suitable length, and then screw the lower half counterclockwise until the upper half is locked.

Second: reduce the experience value. EXP value can be modified in DJI GO flight control parameter settings. This option represents the exponential relationship between the actual number of push rods on the remote control and the number of output logic rods.

Third: reduce brake sensitivity. Reducing the braking sensitivity will slow down the recoil reaction when braking, and the lens changes more smoothly. [Note] Reducing the braking sensitivity will also increase the braking stroke, so it is necessary to maintain a safe braking distance when controlling the drone.

Fourthly, reduce the moving speed parameters of the pan-tilt wheel. If the moving speed of the pan-tilt wheel is lowered according to the shooting requirements, personally, 40 is more suitable for most situations.

Multidimensional flight

Many movies are shot from a multi-dimensional perspective rather than a single way of pushing the mirror. For example, when the drone moves forward or backward, it increases its descent or ascent, and increases its rotation during the ascent or descent. These movements need to be practiced many times to get familiar with them.

Translation lens

At present, many aerial scenery clips are mainly taken from the front, which lacks freshness for the audience, so using the panning lens can make the audience feel fresher. It's like shooting a picture below 0.5 meters or above 2 meters will be more shocking and easier to make soup slices.

4. The first visual lens

The first visual lens is mostly used for fast-moving shooting, such as chasing the lens, which will make people feel like they are in an aircraft. This kind of lens mostly fixes the camera position, so that the motion of the drone can be directly fed back to the lens, especially the tilt feeling brought by the yaw action. 4k big screen effect is better.

5. Add translation/tilt movement effect

Adding the movement of the tripod head during multi-angle flight can increase the freshness and shock of the audience. For example, does it feel like the rising sun when you add the lens of looking up in the process of advancing and rising?

This is easier to accomplish in multi-dual control or multi-control flight shooting. Single control will use the function of fixed course or fixed waypoint to simplify the control of aircraft, which needs more practice.

6. Scene parallax effect

When shooting, you can skip the occlusion of trees or buildings, so that the depth of field of the scene suddenly increases, and the shock of the huge contrast between the front and back scenes is achieved. When shooting, you need to lock the focal length of the lens at infinity, so that the drone is close to the obstacle, and it is best to blur it. The drone rises at 45 degrees, and the depth of field of the scene suddenly increases when it leaps. Another way is to let the drone fly quickly near the top of the tree. The lens produces a strong sense of depression, and then the slope rises slowly. At the same time, with the lifting of the lens, the lens will make the audience feel suddenly enlightened.

7. Don't use the in-situ rotating lens.

The lens that rotates in place will give the audience a very abrupt and dizzy feeling. In addition, the drone will be affected by the wind at high altitude, and it is impossible to reach a static state, especially the horizontal height is difficult to maintain, so rotating the lens in situ will inevitably be accompanied by shaking up and down.

8. Make full use of sidelight

9. Photometric locking

The process of aerial photography may vary greatly in height, so it will also change the light greatly. If the camera uses automatic metering, the exposure of the video will also change when the scene changes, which may lead to underexposure of the subject. In order to keep the exposure of the subject during shooting, it is necessary to lock the metering. The operation is as follows:

Let the subject enter the camera first, click the subject on the DJI GO APP screen, correctly expose the subject, and click the lock next to AE in the upper right corner of the screen. When the lock is locked, the exposure is locked. Click the screen again at this time, and the measurement is invalid.
