Original song: Mary Hopkin
Lyrics: Jean Ruskin
Music Composer: Boris Fuming
Once upon a time, there was a pub where Wu often drank a glass.
A long time ago, there was a hotel where we raised our glasses for a change.
Remember how we laughed away the time and dreamed of all the great things we were going to do?
Do you remember how to kill time with laughter and dream of great things you want to do?
Those days, my friend. ? We thought they would never end.
Old love, my friend, we will never end.
We will sing and dance forever.
We will sing and dance all day.
We will live the life of our choice, we will fight and never fail.
We live in our own way. We struggle and never give up.
Because we are young, we will definitely have our own way, la, la, la ...?
Because we are young, we are sure to win, la, la, la. .....
Those days, oh, yes, those days.
Old love, ah, old love.
Then the busy years passed by us in a hurry, and we lost our concept of starry sky on the way.
Later, the busy years flew by, and we lost our star-like ideals on the road.
If I happen to meet you in the pub, we will smile at each other?
If I happen to see you in the hotel, we will smile at each other.
We will say: Those days, my friend, we thought they would never end.
And said: past feelings, friends, we will never end.
We will sing and dance forever, and one day, we will live our own life.
We will sing and dance all day, and we will live in our own way.
We will fight and never fail, in those days.
We struggle, never give up, past feelings
Oh, yes, those days, la, la, la ...?
Ah, old love, la, la, la. .....
Song background
Once upon a time, a song with gypsy and Russian style, was originally a Russian folk song, composed by Boris Fuming and written by the poet Constantine Poti levski. That's a Russian song "Dragon Road" released by 1925, which is now regarded as their folk song by Russian gypsies.
The English version of Long Walk was written by Gini Ruskin in 1968, and it was suggested that The Beatles's paul mccartney and other young and beautiful female singer Mary Wilson record this lyric song in the famous "Apple" studio and name it "thedays". After 1968 was launched, it ranked second and first in the European and American pop charts that year, and stayed on the list for 10 week. Since then, this song has been widely circulated all over the world, and Mary Hopkin has also become a first-class singer.
