According to reports, at present, the thinnest part of the ice course in Laoniuwan of the Yellow River has exceeded 40 cm, exceeding the national safety standard for ice and snow sports 15 cm, which is very suitable for ice and snow sports. At the same time, the width of the Yellow River reaches 450-600 meters, which, combined with the unique geographical advantages of local natural canyons, forms a closed ring-shaped "luxury track".
After the shooting began, the contestants raced on the ice of the Yellow River, which complemented the majestic Great Wall Castle and the wonderful scenic canyon around the track, forming a beautiful picture with proper exercise. In the end, Cai Lihua of Harbin Jindao team won the women's 3km champion, Wang Hongqing of Nehe team won the women's 6km champion and Jilin Bainington team won the women's 4x 1km relay champion.
In the men's competition, Ding Xing of Qiqihar team won the men's 5km champion, Nurdubek Abdesh of Altay Sports Commission won the men's10km champion, and Laojunding team of Qinhuangdao won the men's 4x 1 km relay champion.
20 17-20 18 National Mass Speed Skating Marathon Series is divided into five races, among which Laoniuwan Station is the only skating venue with natural ice surface in the five races. The prize money has also reached the highest level in history. The top 30 men and women will be rewarded before the competition, and the first prize will be raised to 5,000 yuan.
