Let's talk about Angkor's power system first.
Angkewei is equipped with the star product of SAIC-GM LSY 2.0L variable-cylinder turbocharged engine, which has the function of four-cylinder/two-cylinder switching, which is still rare in the same class. According to different working conditions, four-cylinder performance, four-cylinder economy and two-cylinder economy modes can be switched.
Driving experience: This 2.0T power is more than enough to drag such a big body of Angkor Banner. The front throttle is very dexterous, and the acceleration power in the middle and rear sections can be continued. If the floor oil is oily, it will run away.
GM's latest 9-speed hydraulic automatic transmission.
Angkewei is equipped with GM's latest 9-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Compared with the previous GF6 series, both performance and word-of-mouth are leaps and bounds. At present, this gearbox is also used in GL8 ES LUZun and other models except Angkewei, but Angkewei's gear shifting mechanism is very different, and it is a key operation. Among them, D and R gears have error-proof mechanisms, which can only be unlocked by pulling up. Similar to our common electronic parking operation, just press P and N gears.
Driving experience: The gear of the 9-speed automatic manual transmission is really enough, and the transmission ratio is set very closely. When the road conditions are good, the gear of the transmission is very low and it is very refreshing to drive. However, on the congested road, the shifting between the low gears of the gearbox is slightly frequent. If the shift logic can be optimized by upgrading the gearbox program, it is really impeccable.
The rear suspension is a five-link independent suspension.
Former McPherson+rear five-bar linkage is a common combination at this level. The rear axle adopts spring tube separation design, and has a very strong steel lower control arm and subframe.
Driving experience: the sound is dull and heavy when dealing with bumps. Of course, the Avia version is equipped with CDC full-time active hydraulic vibration reduction system, and that effect should be better. Unfortunately, this is not the test drive.
Summary of test drive experience: Due to the large number of participants and limited test drive time, there are not many items to be tested. Generally speaking, the engine and gearbox of Angkor banner cooperate well and the economy is improved obviously. But don't get me wrong, Angkor is not a sports car. Lao Qiang just thinks Angkor is so big that there is no meat at all. It is worth mentioning that the mute in the car is quite good.
