The School of International Education of Anhui Normal University is a comprehensive department integrating foreign affairs management and international students' education, which has dual nature of administrative function and teaching. It consists of college office, foreign exchange office, international student education office, teaching and research section for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, reference room and teaching laboratory.

The department was established in 1983, with 5 administrators, full-time teachers 12 and part-time teachers 10. It undertakes the international exchange and cooperation of schools and the education of foreign experts and students. The school has established cooperative relations with more than 30 universities and friendly organizations around the world. There are 9 foreign experts who have worked in the school for a long time,1more than 20 students and visiting scholars at different levels, such as master students, undergraduates and advanced students.
