On the western border of Haiyang, there is a village called Beihuaidi. The village tablet records that during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, Jiang's ancestors moved here and built a village under the locust tree, so it was called Huaishudi Village (there is also a Huaishudi Village in the town dozens of kilometers away from it, which is called Nanhuaishudi Village for the sake of distinction).
According to historical records, Jiang is a descendant of Emperor Yan and one of the oldest surnames in China. In the process of long-term development and reproduction, 48 halls in 4 counties were formed, of which the branch hall was Haiyang, Shandong, and the ancestor was Jiang Chaoyang, whose real name was Yuan, who moved to Huai Yu tree in Yi Tong in Yuan Dynasty.
Beihuaishudi Village was built in the early Ming Dynasty and was named after a big pagoda tree nearby. This big pagoda tree has been growing until modern times, and then it gradually aged and dried up. The old people in Beihuaishudi Village have basically seen this tree. It is said that it has a huge crown and can accommodate more than a dozen families under the tree. It was very spectacular, and then the tree suddenly died, and then it issued a statue of a big bud overnight. Now it can be seen that the bud has withered, so the bud is now enclosed in a village people's court, and the parade has not seen it.
Take Wei Qing Expressway to Hangcun exit, then follow X089 route to the north, and then go north through Changyang ancient city ruins-Bijiashan-Yangshan-Mugezhuang Reservoir. After about half an hour, you can see Yushan, the highest mountain in China.
At that time, the Shandong Column of the Eighth Route Army led by General Xu and the Kuomintang Zhao Baoyuan's anti-eight allied forces launched the famous Yushan conference war in history (not detailed here). After crossing Yushan Mountain, you can see a village surrounded by fruit trees and flowing rivers-Beihuaishudi Village in ten minutes' drive.
On the left side of the village entrance, a big poplar tree with a history of nearly 600 years stands tall and needs four or five people to surround it. A vine of the same age twists and turns along the trunk, hovering upward, like a soaring dragon, very majestic. In summer time, wisteria is in full bloom, like a purple butterfly flying all over the sky, with a pleasant smell. In a trance, I seem to have entered a fairyland on earth: seeing dragonflies jumping and flowing water gurgling, I feel extremely intoxicated and sigh that there are such rare beautiful scenery in the secluded places in the countryside. There are two monuments beside the tree, one is the age of Screaming Trees, and the other is the ancestor Jiang Chaoyang to commemorate the village. In addition to the majestic beauty, it makes people feel solemn. ...
Walking down the stairs, you can see a small bridge. Under the bridge, the clear water seems to be telling the past of an ancient village. When you get off the bridge, you enter the village road.
Along the road to the west, you can reach the south ridge of Darcy, where you can see several wind power piles, which is very spectacular. East along the road, there is an old well on the right side of the village monument, and the water quality is sweet. According to the villagers, during the driest time in history, there was no water to drink in Fiona Fang, but wells kept flowing out, helping the villages. It can be seen that this place is really a land of feng shui, and it is hard to find in the world.
Surrounding the village, we can see that the village is surrounded by mountains on one side and water on three sides. Qiancun River flows from the southwest ridge to the south, Houcun River flows from Beishan to the north, and Hongyan River flows through many villages to the east. In the hot summer, after the rain, the village of Beihuashudi is lush.
The winding river and the fresh and comfortable air make people linger. ......
There is a stone bridge on the Hongyan River, which was built in the late 1970s. The marble bridge railing and the huge stone pier under the bridge have strange structures, which have been washed away by floods for decades without any damage. This is very strange.
There is also an allusion to the establishment of this bridge. It is said that a bachelor in the village sleepwalked at night and found a beautiful woman in red lying on the side of the road, so he went forward to ask questions. The woman in red said that she couldn't walk, so the man picked up the woman and went forward to seek medical treatment. When wading across the Hongyan River, he found that the woman on his back was getting heavier and heavier, and he could hardly move forward. He was just about to turn around when he heard the woman say, "I am the goddess of this river, and I have come to test the folk customs here." You can tell the villagers about you tomorrow. " After that, it disappeared. The man was surprised when he woke up, so he told the villagers that the villagers went to the river to test and found that the river here was relatively flat and suitable for building piers, so he built the bridge. Because the bachelor man soon found a wife, this bridge was called the Hongniang River Bridge when it was first built, and later it gradually became the Hongyan River Bridge.
After hundreds of years of reproduction, the Jiang surname in Beihuashudi Village has also derived many branches. Jiang surnames in the surrounding areas, such as Buqian, Jiangjialou, Zhaiwao and Zhuwu, are all related to Beihuashudi Village. In addition, there are branches of Jiang surname in Baochupu and Gaogezhuang of Laiyang.
Because branches have been moving out in history, the scale of Beihuaishudi Village is not too large now, with more than 300 households. The genealogy of the village was rebuilt a few years ago, and some old people collected it. Over the years, many people surnamed Jiang have come here to seek their roots and ancestors.
In my spare time, I am glad to come here to purify my busy mind. If I can stay one more night, look at the stars all over the sky, listen to the crickets, and get drunk like a dream, why not?
