Building structure of Shenyang North Railway Station
Square structure: elevated waiting hall, ground platform of office area, train platform of central entrance hall, entrance hall of station building, underground civil air defense floor of pedestrian distribution square, traffic floor of civil air defense project, underground exit passage of railway, social vehicle parking lot, taxi parking lot, underground station hall of public commercial service area-traffic floor of Shenyang North Station, social vehicle parking lot and underground platform floor of Shenyang Metro public commercial service area.

The main station building opened in 1990 is a silver-gray tile arc building, with a width of136m and a height of 60m, with a construction area of 36,000m2, including the entrance hall, tourist restaurant, shopping mall, cold drinks, barber shop, beauty salon, video hall, ballroom, equipment and office space. The main station building has two floors underground, and floors above ground 16, of which floors 6 to 14 are guest rooms, and the lobby below ground 1 floor is the hotel lobby with independent entrances and exits, which is connected with the underground commercial city. The passenger station * * * covers an area of 1.03 million square meters, with a construction area of more than 60,000 square meters. The station has three floors, four rows of 9.5-meter-high escalators, seven elevated waiting rooms and six train platforms with the same height. The overall structure was surveyed and designed by the Third Railway Survey and Design Institute. On the landlord side of the main station is the ticket office and baggage room of 3800 square meters, and on the west side is the baggage claim room. The station building is equipped with a passenger broadcast system designed by Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which consists of 20 signal sources, 8 broadcast channels, 10 high-power transistor amplifier and 20 broadcast areas.

Considering the operation problems in the transformation of the North Station transportation hub, the transformation project reserved and utilized the main space of the existing main station building, only partially renovated the internal public space, and transformed the outer cover of the station building, replacing it with white slate and blue glass curtain wall, and replacing the ceiling with a large-area glass skylight to provide a transparent view. Two new underground parking lots will be built, one taxi parking lot on the first floor 1 car, and one underground crosswalk 1 car. Laying an elevated passenger bridge and a drop-off platform, directly connecting with the elevated waiting hall. South Square cancels ground parking, taxis and social vehicles are underground, and the ground of the square is built with crowd gathering and greening landscape space, with a landscape square of 42,000 square meters. The square is made of white hemp granite, and the greening project covers an area of 36,000 square meters. Among them, Sophora japonica trees with a height of more than 5 meters and a DBH of about 15cm are planted on both sides of the South Square, and each tree covers an area of about 4 square meters with a spacing of about 2 meters. The location of the original bus hub was adjusted, and the bus hub was adjusted from a square to two green spaces on the south side of North Station Road. Two bus stops and 20 bus lines will be built on both sides of the square. In the reconstruction project of Shenyang North Station, the capacity of North Station Road has been improved. Take measures such as increasing crossing passages, channelizing intersections, optimizing signals, increasing isolation barriers and strengthening management to improve the traffic capacity of North Station Road.

After the renovation project is completed, the South Square of Shenyang North Station will become a five-story building, including three floors underground, one floor above ground and one floor underground, of which the first floor is a one-way four-lane elevated station interchange platform. The main bridge of the elevated passenger passage is 528.75 meters long, 9 meters wide and 19 meters wide locally, with two lanes. The bridge is a cast-in-place reinforced concrete box girder and a steel box girder with a maximum span of 50 meters. The station distribution platform can provide nearly 100 parking spaces, and vehicles can stop and leave immediately. The ground floor is a public transportation hub and personnel distribution space, and the ground floor is a railway underground exit passage, civil air defense space, parking lot, subway passage, etc. There are two exits on the east and west sides, which can accommodate large passenger flow, and there is a waiting area for receiving passengers indoors.

The South Square Project of Shenyang North Railway Station was originally planned to be completed before June 30th, 20th13rd, and was later postponed to July 3rd13rd. The south station building and plaza of Shenyang North Railway Station were opened to passengers in mid-August, 20 13, providing ticketing and waiting services.

Substation room

Part of the newly-built substation building is ***3-storey, with streamlined passenger boarding and alighting design, which is connected with the elevated waiting hall through the elevated corridor. Large-area glass structure is adopted around the roof, which makes the whole station room transparent and spacious and full of space. The east and west passenger underground passages of the sub-station building realize zero transfer with the South Square subway through the transfer hall. The highest point of the newly-built substation building is 22.08 meters, with a total area of 1.36 million square meters and a newly-built canopy of 34,000 square meters. There are four escalators directly leading to the elevated waiting hall on the third floor.

The elevated waiting hall is192m long and108m wide, covering an area of 24,000m2. It has 4000 seats and is equipped with a coin-operated mobile phone gas station, which can charge any mobile phone through multiple sockets. The roof of the hall is a combination of transparent glass and steel structure, which ensures the lighting of the hall and achieves the effect of energy saving. There are fourteen ticket gates from A 1 to A14 * * * on the left side of the waiting hall, and twelve ticket gates from B2 to B13 * * * on the right side. There are more than fifty yellow magnetic ticket machines in front of all ticket gates. There is a maternal and infant waiting area of about 50 square meters in the waiting hall, which provides convenient conditions for passengers who need maternal and infant breastfeeding.

Underground transportation hub structure

In the underground transportation hub project of North Station, an exit floor is set between 6 meters underground and 12 meters underground. Two existing exit tunnels in the elevated waiting hall are connected to platforms 7 and 8, and then horizontally run through under platform 8, leading to the underground exit hall of the substation building through tunnels. The whole outbound streamline connects the north and south sides, changing the existing one-way outbound form to the north-south two-way outbound, which greatly shortens the passenger streamline. The underground 14m is set as the transfer floor. Combined with the existing municipal facilities construction 1 underground north-south municipal corridor, the outbound crowd will be transported to the North Square of Shenyang Metro Line 2 and the subway station, so as to realize the seamless connection between the station and the subway, bus and taxi stations. The subway station is a three-story station near the baggage room of North Station. The underground floor is a civil air defense space, the underground floor is a subway station hall floor and the underground floor is a subway platform floor.

Platform structure

Every platform of Shenyang North Station is a contour train floor platform widely used in the world, and it was the only station in Northeast China that adopted contour train floor platform at that time. The platform adopts a canopy without platform columns and is hoisted by nearly 5,000 tons of seamless steel pipes, with a total construction area of 57,200 square meters. The ceiling is designed as an arc structure, which is divided into three parts. The middle main body is a spatial steel tube continuous arch truss structure, and the steel tube truss beam spans 66.5 meters, suspended by cables. 59.2 meters south; North span 2 1 m; The highest point is as high as 17m and the lowest point is 14m.

Ticket window layout

There are 32 automatic ticket vending machines on the first floor of the main building of South Plaza (you can buy ordinary full-price tickets for EMU and high-speed rail directly with cash and bank cards, and you can book tickets and exchange tickets through telephone and Internet), as well as disabled windows and refund windows. There are 27 manual ticket selling windows on the second floor.

There are 9 manual ticketing windows, 6 automatic ticket vending machines and 6 automatic ticket pick-up machines on the first floor of Beiguang station building. The automatic ticket pick-up machine only handles Internet ticket purchase and ticket exchange.

Station line layout

1990, the newly-built Shenyang North Station is arranged as six independent platforms, 1 1 line. In the reconstruction project, in order to make the passenger activities with different demands be carried out along the platform partition to prevent bottlenecks and congestion, the project adopts the design of high-speed and general-speed systems with different stations and lines, with high-speed parking lots on the side of the main station building (1-4 platform) and general-speed parking lots on the side of the auxiliary station building. In the renovation project of the hub, the platform expanded westward and became 8 16 lines. Express, express and slow train passengers use platform 5 for high-speed and slow train parking.
