Can I use a marker in the background of the hand-painted poster? But markers can be colored, and gouache can be used if it doesn't work. If the pen is good enough and used skillfully, it won't be colored. You can refer to Eiichiro Oda's title page. Many Japanese cartoonists use markers to color, but they can't see it at all. Some look like watercolors. If you really can't use a marker, it is more similar to use watercolor instead. Gouache is an opaque painting, similar to oil painting.

The whole layout has two aspects:

1, the title font of the poster can be written directly with alcohol marker, and then decorated around the font with water marker. This method is more practical.

2. You can draw the structure of the font with a pencil, and then tick out the outline of the font with a tick. Then use a water-based pen to color the inside of the font.

In terms of materials and tools, we mainly use 5mm\6mm\ 12mm\20mm alcohol marker, and the fine print is 5mm marker to write the text and commodity units.
