"Water City has an appointment" National Calligrapher Invitation Exhibition Call for Papers
According to today's art report, Liaocheng City, located in the west of Shandong Province, is a very attractive city, and its charm can be summarized in one word as "water". There are 23 rivers with a basin area of more than 3 square kilometers, including 3 rivers with a basin area of more than 1 square kilometers. The Yellow River, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Weihe River, the Majia River and the Tuhai River crisscross each other, and dongchang lake, Jinniu Lake and Yuqiu Lake reflect each other. In Liaocheng city alone, the water area of lakes and rivers is as much as 13 square kilometers, accounting for 1/3 of the urban area. Numerous rivers and beautiful lakes have made Liaocheng a unique water city style of "the lakes are connected, the city and the lake depend on each other, the city is in the water and the water is in the city".
Liaocheng Newspaper Media Group News Painting and Calligraphy Institute was established in January 214, mainly engaged in painting and calligraphy artistic creation, theoretical research and training artistic talents. In order to carry forward traditional culture and art, promote the prosperity and development of calligraphy and meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the people, Liaocheng Newspaper Media Group decided to hold the establishment ceremony of the News Painting and Calligraphy Institute and the "Watertown Appointment" national calligraphy master invitation exhibition.

2. Call for papers
Member of China Calligraphers Association. The total number of calls for papers this time is 15, which are divided into free submission and directional contract. The number of free submissions is evaluated according to the quality of the works, and the quota will last until it is full.
3. Precautions
1. The content must be positive, healthy and progressive ancient poems, couplets, famous sayings and aphorisms, etc., especially works reflecting Liaocheng's natural scenery, cultural heritage and achievements in economic and social development are welcome.
2. There is no limit to the style of calligraphy works, and the size of calligraphy works generally does not exceed six feet. Each person has two works, one is vertical, and the other is a four-foot square. Please don't mount the manuscript. Please attach explanatory notes to cursive and seal script works.
