Bovine pink eye is infectious rhinotracheitis, also known as bovine red nose disease, which is an acute contact infectious disease caused by bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus. Also known as bovine herpesvirus type I infection, red nose disease or bovine infectious necrotizing rhinitis. The clinical manifestations are dyspnea and fever, including rhinitis, sinusitis, laryngitis and tracheitis. The virus mainly exists in nose, eyes, vaginal secretions and excreta.
