Introduction of Quanzhou Ocean Vocational College In 2009, Mr. Cai Tianzhen, an overseas Chinese living in Singapore, returned to his hometown of Shishi, Quanzhou, and founded Quanzhou Ocean Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as the school) with the spirit of "being grateful to the world and inspiring talents", featuring marine-related majors and the vision of building a first-class "Fujian Ocean University" on the west side of the Taiwan Strait. Approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education, it has been included in the national college entrance examination unified recruitment plan and has the qualification to independently issue national academic certificates. The school faces Gough Bay in the north, only 500 meters away from the coast. Gufu Bay is rich in beach resources and is a good place to get water and surf. Relying on the marine cultural heritage of Quanzhou Millennium Port, the College has built a first-class stone carving fence of Hayes culture in China, a world special ship exhibition hall and a marine culture exhibition hall, and jointly built a marine science and technology exhibition hall with the government on campus. The school has been rated as Quanzhou Social Science Popularization Base and shishi city Social Science Popularization Base.
