In addition to the original "Be", there are seven other forms of "be": am (first person singular form), is (third person singular form), ARE (second person singular and plural form), been (past participle), being (present participle), was (first person singular and third person singular past tense) and were (first).
According to the tense of the sentence:
1, if it is the simple past tense, use was/were.
2. If it is the simple present tense, use am/is/are.
3. If it is the simple future tense, use will.
4. If it is the present perfect tense, use have/ already.
5. If it is the past perfect tense, use had been.
