As for lip reflection, I usually hook my mouth shape with a pen tool, create a new layer of color and then add or lighten the color (adjust the transparency), or copy a layer of my mouth shape and then adjust the color or gloss of the curve. Generally speaking, I build a new layer with white dots, then adjust the position with the smudge tool, and then adjust the transparency with the rubber tool.
