2. Mengding tea is named because it is produced at the top of Mengshan Mountain, and the good natural environment of Mengshan Mountain also ensures its high quality. Mengshan Mountain is located in Qionglai Mountain area, Sichuan, with Emei Mountain in the east, Daxiangling Mountain in the south, Jin Jia Mountain in the west, Chengdu Basin in the north, and Qingyi River passing under its feet.
3. Every spring equinox, when only about 5% of tea buds germinate in the tea garden, the picking work in Mengding Gan Lu begins, and the picking standard is single bud or one leaf per bud.
4. The processing technology of Mengding Gan Lu is divided into high-temperature deactivation, three-stir-frying and three-kneading, deblocking and shaping, fine drying and other processes, among which deblocking and shaping is the key to determine the appearance quality of finished tea.
5. After fresh leaves are picked, they should be spread flat and fixed, and then kneaded and fried for three times, so that the tea leaves can be preliminarily kneaded into strips, which also creates conditions for the process of "shaping".
