E. Miller, 1909-), 193 1 received a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. 1935 received a doctorate in psychology from Yale university. Miller studied psychoanalysis and spent most of his career at Yale. During his stay at Yale University, he cooperated with Dollard, combining the theoretical concepts of psychoanalysis with experimental psychology, and using experimental methods to study the driving force, reinforcement and conflict of acquisition. This original research has brought many honors to Miller. 1959 was elected president of the American Psychological Association. Miller has won many science awards, one of which is the American Presidential Science Award. Only two people in the field of psychology have won this science prize.
Dollard (John
US dollars, 1900-) 1922 graduated from the University of Wisconsin, 193 1 received a doctorate in sociology from the University of Chicago. Dollard has a wide range of interests. He studied psychoanalytic theory in Berlin. During his stay at Yale University, he served as a teacher and researcher in anthropology, sociology and psychology. He cooperated with Miller in psychological research and founded a unique social learning theory. Dollard 1969 retired.
