Brief introduction of minimally invasive surgery under nasal endoscope
From 65438 to 0978, Dr. Messerklinger first discussed in detail the structure of nasal cavity and sinus under nasal endoscope. From 65438 to 0984, Dr. Kennedy and his colleagues introduced the concept of functional endoscopic sinus surgery to the United States. In recent years, endoscopic sinus surgery has been introduced to China. At present, functional endoscopic sinus surgery has become the most important surgery for chronic sinusitis. FESS can accurately remove diseased tissues and bones, enlarge the opening of sinus and restore the normal physiological function of sinus. Compared with traditional sinus surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery is minimally invasive. The discomfort after functional endoscopic sinus surgery has been very slight, and the most obvious change is that the symptoms caused by the original sinus lesions have been significantly improved.
