(1) Nasal septal cartilage

The cartilage of the nasal septum is hard, which is easy to shape a round and upturned nose, and can even treat diseases such as curved nasal septum or stuffy nose by the way. (2) Ear cartilage
Cartilage augmentation rhinoplasty mainly uses concha cartilage, because the concha cartilage will regenerate. And the appearance will not change, and the wound can be hidden behind the ear, which is not easy to be found.
Unfortunately, the amount of auricular cartilage is small, and it is only used to raise the tip of the nose. Not suitable for columella, because the cartilage in the concha cavity is bent, and the columella will bend after operation.
(3) Costal cartilage
Costal cartilage has a wide range of sources, reliable texture and safe method of obtaining materials, and is suitable for all kinds of congenital nasal deformities, trauma or postoperative acquired nasal deformities. The disadvantage is that cartilage needs to be cut elsewhere, leaving scars on the abdomen.
3. Precautions after rhinoplasty
First, quit smoking and drinking after rhinoplasty, keep a light diet and don't eat spicy food.
Second, wash your face and sleep gently to avoid oppressing the surgical site.
Third, under the guidance of a doctor, appropriate measures can be taken to reduce swelling at the surgical site, but it is forbidden to massage, knead or apply heat on its own, which will easily cause hematoma at the surgical site and is not conducive to wound healing.
Fourth, the day after augmentation rhinoplasty: There may be a little bloody liquid flowing out of the nostrils at the surgical incision, or blood scabs and swelling of the nose and face at the edge of the nostrils.
5. 2-3 days after rhinoplasty: Although the pain in the nose and face will basically disappear, it will become more and more swollen, with bruises around the eyes and the outline of the nose is not obvious. Severe cases will be accompanied by conjunctival congestion.
6. 3-6 days after rhinoplasty: The swelling of the whole body will gradually improve, the congestion around the eyes will gradually subside, and the conjunctival hemorrhage will also subside, but the compression of the tip of the nose and the back of the nose will still hurt.
Seven days after augmentation rhinoplasty: at this time, the swelling basically disappeared, the congestion almost completely subsided, the wound healed well, and there was no obvious pain, but the outline of the nose was still not clear enough.
