The predecessor of Chengxian No.1 Middle School was 1942 "Chengxian Junior Middle School" approved by the Education Department of Gansu Province of the National Government, and its school site was Cangquan Academy (where the county people's government is now located). 1945 moved to the new site of Peigong Lake (where the county people's hospital is located) in the second half of the year. There were 274 junior high school students who graduated from five junior high schools before liberation. 1949 12 merged into chengxian secondary normal school and became a junior high school affiliated to chengxian normal school. 1956 was separated from Chengxian Teachers College and moved to the new campus atNo. 102, Beiguan Street, Chengguan Town, Chengxian County, which is located at the foot of the picturesque Purple Mountain and beside the East River. It was officially named "Chengxian No.1 Middle School in Gansu Province". At that time, there was only one junior high school, and high school students began to enroll students at 1958, becoming a full-time and complete middle school. In the same year, Huixian, Chengxian and liangdang county merged into Huicheng County, renamed as "No.2 Middle School of Huicheng County, Gansu Province". 1962, Huicheng County was abolished, and the organizational system of Chengxian County, Huixian County and liangdang county was restored. The original name of the school was "Chengxian No.1 Middle School in Gansu Province". To the north of the school is Wu Tingbei, a provincial-level key protected cultural relic, and to the east is the rich and beautiful alluvial plain of Ni Qing. Elegant environment, away from downtown, is a good place for students to study.
