Chongqing North East Bridge started construction in February 2004, with a total investment of about 200 million yuan. The main bridge is nearly 500 meters long, the main span is 230 meters, and the length of two approach bridges is 1200 meters.

After the completion of the North East Bridge, it will be connected with Ring Expressway, Yu He Expressway, National Highway 2 12 and Provincial Highway 204 under construction. Among them, Dongyang Town in this area has benefited the most. It is reported that Dongyang Town is a major glass production town in the city and a major vegetable base in Beibei District.
