How to raise roses (rose pot method)
The maintenance and management of roses need to pay special attention to adequate illumination, watering, fertilization, pruning and pest control. It has certain adaptability to cold, drought and various types of soil. Rose is a rose shrub, also known as rose, red rose and red rose. Gardening varieties include purple double petal rose, purple branch rose and so on. Roses are distributed in northern China, Bulgaria and the United States. They bloom in May and June, and the flowers are full of fragrance. Here is a detailed introduction to the maintenance methods of roses.

1. Lighting requirements

Roses like plenty of sunshine, and their growth needs a proper amount of direct sunlight, which should last at least 6 hours.

2. Soil requirements

Roses like neutral or slightly alkaline soil, and can also be planted in slightly acidic soil. The requirement for soil fertility is low, and it grows well in loose and breathable soil with certain humus.

3. Moisture requirements

Roses are drought-tolerant, but not waterlogged. Water the soil after it dries. Potted plants should not be watered when the temperature is lower than 0℃, and should be watered at noon when they are moved indoors for wintering maintenance.

4. Temperature requirements

The suitable growth temperature of roses is 65438 02 ~ 28℃. Roses can differentiate flower buds in an environment above 7℃. The longer the high temperature time after bud pregnancy, the earlier the flowering. The flowering period is not suitable for maintenance in a hot environment. When the temperature is higher than 35℃ in summer, plants will hibernate and should be cooled appropriately.

Rose is relatively cold-tolerant, and most varieties can tolerate the low temperature of-15℃. When the temperature is too low in winter, plants will go into dormancy. In the northern region, there is no need to keep warm, and potted plants should be put in a sunny environment at 20℃ for the winter.

5. Fertilization method

The late spring and early summer are the blooming seasons of roses, so it needs to be fertilized frequently. 15 ~ 20 days can be applied once. If water-soluble solid fertilizer is applied, it can be poured thoroughly in time after fertilization.

6. Pruning method

Prune properly after flowering. If you don't need to propagate fruits and preserve seeds, you can cut off withered flowers. Summer dormancy can be properly trimmed and remolded, and unnecessary growth can also be avoided.

7. Pest control

Common diseases and insect pests of roses are rust, brown spot, branch blight, aphid, red spider, longicorn and so on, which should be prevented in time. For diseases caused by bacteria, chlorothalonil solution should be sprayed in advance to prevent them.
