The main principles of failed repair of rhinoplasty;
1. Before repair, carefully observe the damage caused by the failure of rhinoplasty, consult and observe the shape of the patient's nose, and find out the nasal defect caused by the operation;
2. According to the patient's defects, design a reasonable rhinoplasty repair scheme;
3. According to the patient's nasal defects, in order to correct the defects of surgery, the most suitable nasal model is carved by rhinoplasty.
4. Ensure that the prosthesis can be implanted into the nasal cavity accurately;
5. Pay attention to the disinfection of the wound after operation to avoid wound infection, and be careful not to displace the prosthesis.
The different materials used in the first rhinoplasty will lead to different timing of the repair operation.
The shortest interval between the second operations is rhinoplasty. This reinforcing material can grow with human tissues in about a month. Patients who are dissatisfied with rhinoplasty should be taken out in a short time as soon as possible to avoid tissue growth and cause more trauma.
The second operation of rhinoplasty with silicone prosthesis should be three months later, and rhinoplasty can be done again after it is taken out.
Dermal rhinoplasty has a high survival rate, is safe, has no adverse effects on human body, and generally does not need repair.
Postoperative nursing care of reducing the failure rate of rhinoplasty
Infection rarely occurs after rhinoplasty, and there are occasional incision infections. Anti-inflammatory treatment is enough. Don't take out the prosthesis unless the inflammation spreads to the deep area of the operation. There are some bruises under the skin after operation, so don't be nervous. Generally, it can fade by itself.
If the nose tip continues to be red and swollen after rhinoplasty, it will gradually turn white and the pain will be numb. Be alert to local skin perforation and prosthesis exposure caused by over-implantation, and return to the clinic in time.
