The difference between tpu and pvc materials for luminous bracelets.
Although the wristband, as an important part of the bracelet, has not been paid attention to by the consumer market for a long time, it does not hinder the continuous evolution and progress of the smart bracelet material. At present, the smart bracelet materials on the market can be mainly divided into the following four categories-

1. Soft PVC: Soft PVC has many advantages, such as soft touch, bright color and low price. However, PVC contains halogen, and the incident of alcoholic liquor plasticizer always makes people associate PVC with toxic plasticizer (phthalate). Although there are relatively more environmentally friendly PVC, PVC materials have a strong smell. For safety and health, this material is basically not considered in the regular smart bracelet market.

Identification method: ignite an unknown soft rubber material with fire (the fire source does not leave). If the background color of the flame is green when burning, then the soft rubber material is undoubtedly PVC.

2.TPU or polyurethane: Both materials belong to polyurethane, but the difference is that one is thermoplastic (TPU) and the other is casting (polyurethane). PU can also be processed into leather materials. PU leather is soft and odorless, and can be used as a qualified artificial leather bracelet material. The other is TPU. TPU material has excellent elasticity and can be injection bonded with another hard plastic PC of bracelet. The cost is relatively cheap, and the materials can be recycled. The disadvantage is that it feels soft and not ideal. In terms of hardness selection, it is generally above 70A, and the TPU material with softer hardness has high cost.
