Bonsai modeling consists of five elements: root plate, trunk, branch support, branch type and leaf (fruit). All fine bonsai, most of which are complete in five elements, are indispensable. As the basic elements of bonsai, branch support and branch type are essential.

History of bonsai plants

There is a saying in Qing Dynasty that bonsai plants are divided into four masters, seven sages, eighteen bachelors and four elegant flowers and plants. Due to continuous introduction and excavation, there are one or two hundred species of trees used to make bonsai materials in China.
