Trunk fruit tree pruning
For newly planted fruit trees that need to be dried, the drying methods are different according to the requirements of tree shape. For tree types that require trunk, high spindle and slender spindle to widen the ratio of branches to stems, it is best to reduce the first branch point of the target tree by 20 cm when drying, so that when three or four branches grow in the mouth to be cut after drying, one dominant branch will be retained and the rest will be re-cored. Removing four or five leaves (petioles) from the top of the dominant branches will not damage the top growth point, so that the branches will open almost horizontally and naturally, which is beneficial to plastic surgery in the future. Of course, big seedlings don't need to be fixed, but the branches are generally not ideal.
