What should I do if I burn?
1, get away from the injury source quickly.

No matter what causes your burn, you should get rid of the source of the injury immediately, so as to avoid the deterioration of the condition and minimize the injury.

1) If the burn is caused by flame, you should immediately take off the burning clothes, or roll on the spot to put out the fire, or put out the fire with water, or put out the fire with a quilt of nonflammable clothes. Remember to run! It will only aggravate the flame burning.

2) If it is electric burn, immediately cut off the power supply. If someone is burned by electricity, it is necessary to check whether the burned person's breathing is unobstructed, whether he is conscious and whether his heartbeat is normal. Do artificial respiration and external massage if necessary.

3) If it is a hydrothermal burn, immediately take off the clothes soaked in hot night.

4) If it is a chemical burn, immediately take off the clothes soaked or contaminated by chemical substances and rinse them with plenty of water.

2, burn treatment

In daily life, once burned, many people will smear toothpaste, egg white and other substances on the wound, which will not only fail to treat the burn, but also cover up the wound, making it impossible for doctors to determine the size and depth of the burn surface immediately. Therefore, once burned, the following measures should be taken:

1) Only the epidermis was injured, and the injured skin was red, swollen and burning, but no blisters appeared. This kind of burn belongs to the light and heavy, and the wound should be soaked in cold water immediately to cool down, relieve pain and reduce swelling. If there is ice, you'd better use it. Then apply egg white, flower oil or scald cream to the scald, and it will heal in about 4 days.

2) Damaged dermis, local redness, fever, unbearable pain and obvious blisters. After the treatment of the first measure, the pain was still unbearable and blisters appeared. Don't burst the blister at this time, and go to the hospital for treatment.

3) If the skin is severely burned, sunburned or necrotic, it should be simply bandaged with a clean cloth immediately. Do not apply any medicine, keep the wound clean and seek medical attention quickly.
