Please describe in detail how to graft high-branch pear trees.
Methods and procedures of high branch grafting of pear trees;

Subcutaneous grafting: This method is simple to operate, widely used and efficient, and is mostly used for high grafting and multi-head regeneration of old trees. Saw or cut off the branches to be grafted in a smooth and undamaged place, flatten the injured surface with a knife, and then select a scion with 2-4 buds. Stick the scion with one hand, and cut a section about 3-4cm long at the lower part of the terminal bud with the other hand, then cut a short section about 0.6cm long at the tip behind the long section, then cut the bark into a vertical incision about 2cm long at the place where the branch section is to be inserted, and then insert the cut scion, so that the long section is inserted inward, and pay attention to leaving the section about 0.5 cm exposed (leave blank). If the rootstock is thick, 2-4 scions can be inserted according to the situation to make the wound heal as soon as possible. Then cut the plastic film into strips with a certain width (generally 1-2 inches) and wrap the joints, especially the cross-sectional wounds of the rootstock, to prevent water evaporation;

Splitting method: When grafting, the branches are sawed off or cut off at the grafting place and the injured surface is scraped off, and then a vertical split is cut in the middle. When cutting the scion, select the part with 2-4 buds, and cut a 3-5 cm long section on both sides of the lower part. When cutting, it should be thick outside and thin inside, and cut away from the lower bud 1 cm to avoid hurting the lower bud too close. After cutting, the thick surface faces outward and the thin surface faces inward. Insert the scion into the split of the rootstock, ensure that the cambium of the scion is aligned with the cambium of the rootstock, and pay attention to "leaving blank". This will help the wound to heal. 2-4 scions can be inserted according to the thickness of the rootstock. The dressing method is the same as the dividing method.
