However, from Kuroda's document ("Celebrating 7 years? In the same year, Kuroda fans recorded that Musashi's father was an official of Kuroda's family in the Eastern Army before the battle of Guanyuan, so Musashi probably served Gao Qiao Kuroda of Toyotomi family with his father and fought in Kyushu.

The swordsman period

"Five Wheels Book" records that "at the age of 265,438+0, it is not bad to go to the capital and meet military strategists from all corners of the country". Judging from the fact that Musashi was born in Tianzheng 12 (1584), he should have been in Beijing for 9 years (1604). "Yoshioka, the first soldier of Fusang" recorded in "Xuanxin Second Lay Monument, Xinmian Musashi" (small warehouse inscription) should refer to a branch of Yoshioka. The story of the duel between Wu Kun and Yoshioka brothers is widely circulated in literary and artistic works.

Among Musashi's dueling deeds, the most well-known one is "Rock Stream Island Duel", which is the story of a duel with Sasaki Kojiro, a strategist of Rock Stream, in Changmen State (now Shimonoseki City, Shankou County, Honshu) in the Qing Dynasty. Most people think that Musashi Miyamoto defeated Sasaki Kojiro in this duel, but in fact, the duel process, the outcome and even the name of Musashi Miyamoto's opponent are recorded in different materials, which remains to be verified. In addition, it is also said that Sasaki Kojiro was taken aboard after being knocked unconscious by Musashi Miyamoto, and was secretly killed by Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Jiang Ke period

In the Battle of Osaka (Battle of Osaka in Winter, Battle of Osaka in Summer), the story of Musashi Miyamoto's participation in the war in the name of Toyotomi Army was actually a groundless misinformation by unofficial history. In fact, Musashi is a guest won by Mizuno and will take part in the battle in the name of the Tokugawa Army. Mizuno Masaru Jun, the eldest son of Mizuno Katsumi, was active in this war, which is also recorded in many historical documents.

After that, Musashi Miyamoto participated in the cutting of Akashi (urban plan) and the construction of towns and monasteries such as Kushiro and Akashi under the negotiation of Himeji city owners. In the early years of Yuanhe (16 15), Musashi Miyamoto adopted Tomoko Nakagawa, Mizuno's interior minister, as his adopted son, and recommended Miko Nakagawa as an official in Hikojiro. However, Miki Yuki died in Kuanyong for 3 years (1626) because of Ben Duo's loyalty. Therefore, after Miki's death, Musashi had to accept the second male branch who had been a samurai for a long time in Tanihara as his adopted son. Miyamoto Spring later became Kogasawara Tadashi, the owner of Shicheng in Ming Dynasty, and became an old man of Kogasawara family when he was only 20 years old in the eighth year of Ganyong (163 1).

The Kuanyong 15 (1638) Shimahara Rebellion broke out, and Tadashi Kokura went out to suppress it, and Kogasawara, the nephew of Musashi and Tadashi, also participated in it for a long time. In a letter sent by Musashi to Lord Yonggao after the rebellion in Shimahara, it was recorded that "I won't be hit by a stone again". It seems that Musashi was hit by a stone thrown by an army of Shimahara and was injured. In addition, during his boarding in Kokura, Musashi, under the command of loyalty and truth, competed with Hozoin's gun expert Takada Matabi.

After the chaos of Shimahara

Each of the seven owners was given a salary of 18 stone ***300 stone, and lived in Wu Jia's house in Chiba, eastern kumamoto castle. Musashi is an exception, taking part in the falconry activities that only family members can take part in. Hosokawa Morihiro also invited Musashi and the orphan of Ashikaga Yi Hui, who are also guests, to learn from Ashikaga, and the three of them went to Amber Hot Springs together. However, the next year, Li Zhong died suddenly, and his second-generation retainer Hosokawa Morihiro also treated him with 300 stones. Shi Shui, a disciple of Musashi in Biography of Wu Gong (Genzaemon in the Mountain), recorded that "Shi Shui Biography records that the younger brother of the fat queen of Wu Gong, with the leader of the governor's Changgang style department, planted a gate in Zecun, and others, such as royalty, imperial side, foreign style, accompanying ministers and scholars, * * * more than a thousand people, entered Musashi's gate". In addition to teaching fencing and art of war, his paintings and craft works have been passed down to this day.

In the twentieth year of Yan Yong (1643), Musashi Miyamoto boarded Iwateyama in Jiuzhou (near Kumamoto), closed the cave at the foot of the mountain and began to write the Five Wheels Book. In addition, a few days before Musashi's death, Musashi called these two books "The Way to Walk Alone" and "The Book of Five Wheels" "self-sworn books" and handed them to disciple Sun Zhiyun at the end of the temple.

Bao Zheng, May/KOOC-0/9, 2002 (June/KOOC-0/645), Musashi Miyamoto died in the samurai residence in Chiba. The cemetery contains the tomb of Musashi, which was cut by a bow in Kumamoto. In Shouxiangshan, Kitakyushu City, there is a "two-day monument to the new exemption of Musashi Xuanxin" set up by an adopted son. This inscription is the oldest record of the relationship between Zhiyi and Musashi, and is usually called "Ogura Inscription".
