How to braid hair:
1. Comb your hair to make it light and fluffy, so that your The braids are just as smooth as silk! This also makes the knitting process easier, so be sure to do this.
2. Determine the position of the braid. Is it at the back of your head in a ponytail, is it on the side, or is it closer to your neck? Decide on this to determine where it will look best.
3. Divide the hair into three parts. Use a comb to separate your hair into three equal parts. One section is on the right side of your head, one in the middle, and one on the left. Use your fingers to separate the parts from each other
4. Pass the right part over the middle part. Keep the sections tight so the finished braid doesn't come loose. Now the right part becomes the middle part.
5. Cross the left part over the middle part. Cross the left section over the middle section. You have now completed the first section of your braid. Keep the sections taut and apart from each other.
6. Continue through the right and left parts of the middle. Continue braiding the left section in the middle and then the right section in the middle, always keeping all the sections taut and apart. Continue braiding the sections together until you have run out of hair.
7. Fix the ends with a hair tie. Secure the braid in place by wrapping a hair tie around the end, leaving 1 inch of unbraided tail to ensure it's secure
8. Try other braids. Now that you know the basic braid forms, try out these gorgeous hairstyles to show off your new skills. They may take some practice, but you'll be pleased with the results.
