As early as the 1970s and 1980s, American researchers put forward the theory that beauty is a beast. According to this theory, beauty is usually not qualified for traditional male occupations. According to an article published in the Journal of Social Psychology, the study found that people with good looks generally have an absolute advantage. But in some subtle aspects of life, beauty may become an obstacle, which researchers call the "femme fatale" effect.
